Ayako is a generally optimistic and happy person and tries to be nice to everyone. However, she has a very strong sense of justice and will not hesitate to retaliate to any bad deed she sees. (This mellows out as she gets older.) She is empathetic and loyal, with a heart that's probably way too big. Taking in stray youkai is no big deal to her. She loves learning and wants to travel the world researching the local youkai of every place she visits and eventually publish her own youkai bestiary. Her work usually has her active at night, so she can be sluggish if she has to be awake during the day. She loves pink things, shiny things, weird animals, girly clothes, and sakura.
